Borderless Reaches Silver Odoo Partner Status

Borderless is now a Silver Odoo Partner, marking another step forward in the Odoo work we've been doing in Suriname and the region.

When we became an official Odoo Partner earlier this year, the goal was to deepen our Odoo expertise, take on bigger projects and continue building local ERP capability for businesses in Suriname and the region.

A few months later, we moved up to Silver.

What this milestone means
Odoo partner levels reflect the scale and consistency of the work a partner is doing, from implementations and certifications to the customers they continue supporting over time. For us, reaching Silver is recognition that the work we've been doing with Odoo has continued to grow.

Three members of our team also sat the Odoo certification exam, averaging 90%, with the highest score coming in at 92.5% and we're happy to say all three passed on their first attempt. Most of the knowledge came from actually working in Odoo, with the official documentation and eLearning filling in the gaps.

The work behind the milestone
We've been in the trenches with Odoo for a while now: mapping local accounting requirements, migrating years of legacy stock data, automating workflows and adjusting the system when standard features don't fully fit the way a business operates.

That includes things like multicurrency POS functionality and tweaking Payroll around Surinamese requirements. When something doesn't exist out of the box, or doesn't quite fit the workflow, we adapt Odoo around how the business actually works.

And that's really what Silver means to us. Not that we've suddenly unlocked some secret ERP superpower, but that the work we're already doing has reached a level Odoo formally recognizes.

For businesses in Suriname and the region, it means you don't have to choose between global ERP standards and a team that understands how companies here actually operate. Whether we're cleaning up inventory that's been living in Excel since 2014, automating procure-to-pay, or dragging financial reporting out of the dark ages, we'll build around how the business really works.
